SXSW 2007 – Dorkbot Tesla Coil Music

I didn’t get to go to SXSW 2007 so I’ve been following along on the web. This is just a photo that I think is cool. Shot by Joi Ito with a Leica M8 (drool) 135mm lens 1/30 ISO640.

Apparently, by using a computer to control the Telsa coil, they were able to generate music with the setup. Kewl…
