Bobby McFerrin demonstrates hardwiring of pentatonic scale in humans
14 09 2009This is VERY interesting (to me, anyway). Bobby McFerrin was on a panel at the World Science Festival and demonstrated how the pentatonic scale is somehow hardwired into human beings. Apparently, it doesn’t matter where in the world he does this, each audience will respond similarly.
